Za panowania króla Stasia tradycyjnie co czwartek na Zamku Królewskim odbywały się obiady zwane czwartkowymi. Na owe obiady zapraszani byli znamienici ludzie kultury i sztuki. Konfraternia O.S.St w Warszawie postanowiła wskrzesić tą tradycje. Co prawda nie co tydzień a raz w miesiącu i nie w czwartek a w niedzielę, i nie proszone a składkowe, i niestety nie na Zamku. Niemniej idea zapraszania znanych gości pozostała.

Under the rule of King Stanisław dinners were traditionally held on Thursdays at The Royal Castle, called "Thursday Dinners". To these dinners were invited illustrious people of culture and art. The Confraternity of the Order of Saint Stanisław in Warsaw decided to revive this tradition. In truth, our meetings are not held every week but once a month, not always on Thursdays but sometimes on Sundays, not on the basis of invitations but paid-for jointly and, unfortunately, not in the Royal Castle. However, the idea of inviting of well-known guests has stayed with us still.
